  1. This is how Hallow-Eve is spent locally.
My mother buys apples and nuts about a week before the feast she hides them somewhere in the house lest some of the children would see them and want some.
Some people hide the apples and nuts in a hay stack if there is one near the house.
The people believe that hiding them in the hay stack makes them sweeter and ripen.
When Hallow Eve night the house is cleaned and a good fire put on. Then the lamp is lit or in some house they have the electric light.
The people of the house all gather round the fire.
Then the apples are devided on all. When the apples are all eaten the nuts are devided.
When all is eaten the children start playing tricks.
