    There are trees in all the graveyards except Clondahorkey. Cluain is the oldest of the graveyards there are tomb stones in Cluain and the names of the departed are written in Ogham which no one can read or understand. Unbaptised babies are buried in the plots that their parents own.
    There is one story connected with the graveyard in Faugher. The funeral was proceeding to Faugher graveyard the corpse being that of a young woman. Her husband being of the name of McGinley wanted her buried at Faugher and and her parents wanted her buried at Clondahorkey, so as a dispute arose between them, It was suggested by some one to send for the old chieftain McGinley. This was done and McGinley came on the scene. Having heard both sides of the story he said there was only one way to settle the dispute. He ordered the lid to be taken off the coffin
