  1. Gold coins were found on King's Island at the mouth of the river Moy years ago.
Two men who were gathering seaweed found them by chance. It bgegan to rain and they went for shelter under the Island. One of then saw a board protruding from the bank and he pulled it out and coins rolled out.
The men gathered them and brought them home. They had them examined and found out that they were foreign coins. They were sent away and money was got for them.
