    were worn. Then they came out and went home the way ways. The soldier followed them the whole time and when they reached dry land he ran before them.
    When they reached home the found him snoring in bed as before. They thought they were alright. The next morning when the king asked him where his daughters were he was able to tell him. He called his daughters around him and asked them if this was right. They said it was and then the king said that the soldier could marry any one of his daughters that he liked best. He married the oldest and they lived for many years after happily together.
