  1. Saint Patrick’s day falls on the 17th of March every year. On that day all the people wear a piece of shamrock on their coats. This is to honour Saint Patrick. When he came to Ireland it was by means of the shamrock that he converted the Irish to the true faith. Saint Patrick is the patron St. of Ireland. In olden times the people of two villages gathered together and then they went to the public house and got drunk. Then they often beat
