  1. A long time ago the Irish people were very fond of telling stories. They put names on some places near them. There is a field near us and they call it Tower-hill. That field got its name because there were big “Towers” built on it. These Towers were a kind of safety in olden times and sometimes they were used as watch places. That tower is knocked down to the ground with years.
    There is nothing there now but the big bare hill.
