    butter. When this is rubbed to the skin it will cure this ailment.
    Cold
    (1) A mug of butter-milk and three spoonfulls of oatmeal will cure an ordinary cold.
    (2) A lemon containing a lump of sugar roasted will cure hoarseness.
    Toothache
    (1) To get a donkeys tooth and rub it of your own tooth and to keep the tooth in your pocket always is said to be a very good cure for toothache.
    (2) There is a certain prayer to say to St Peter and as you say it it will cure the toothache also.
    Warts
    (1) To cure warts get a snail and nib him on the ? and then hang the snail on a thorn bush and while the snail is decaying the wart will be going.
    (2) If you say to a person I will buy that wart for a penny the wart will go away.
    Cure for gravel
    (1) Golden Rod boiled and to drink the juice of it. This Rod grows in Michael Devine's garden
