    about at the end of March. The drifts were 10 feet in some places. They used to cart the snow with shovels. It lasted three months. It was the best year for tillage that came since.
    There was very big floods in 1908. It did a lot of damage on the people. It swept away a great deal off the hay and it drowned a lot of pigs in stables and it dug up bridges. It was on the 4th of August. The floods went down the same evening. In 1920 we had four months of drought.
