There was an old woman in Treenfaure...

There was an old woman in Treenfaure who was very ill. Several Doctors came to visit her, but they could not cure her. She was also anointed but it did her no good, at least he body.
This night two of her friends from the same village came visiting to her. The names were Marget and Tom Brennan and the people of the house told them that she was dying. The friends stayed with them until eleven o'clock and then got up to go home.
There is a little road which is beside the main road from Kiltimigh to Swinford leading out the little road a large procession of fairies passed down the road towards Swinford. Each was carrying a large lamp and saying the rosary in Irish as they went in a loud voice.
The two visitors were very much afraid so they went home as quickly as they could and went to bed.
