- Local Forges
There are three forges at present in use in this parish. One is owned by Pat Henry of Lugmore, another by Tom Gorman of Quarryfield and the other by John Feehily of Bunninadden. There are also two disused forges in this parish, one in Floughena which was owned by Charles Henry, and the other in Knockgrania, was owned by Thady Gorman. Pat Henry's father and uncle were smiths, so also was Tom Gorman's brother, and John Feehily's father. Tom Gorman's forge is situated near a crossroads and a small stream runs about two hundred yards(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
