  1. Oh, wild winds, take me o'er the seas
    To that green Isle, afar,
And let me sleep a thousand years
    Where all my memories are.
In guest of joy I've travelled long
    Through many winding ways ,
But never found the world around
    The bliss of Youthful days,
Then take me far from things that are
No more than what they seem.
And let me walk the golden path
    Of boyhood's early dream
Transcribed by a member of our volunteer transcription project.
