A spancel is also used to tie an ass or a horse also. The horse has a rack at the end of its stall for hay. It has a small trough for oats. We give it mashes of bran in a bucket. We tie the horse in the stable by means of a head-halter and chain. The chain runs through an iron ring in the rack, There is a wooden block
