  1. We have the following farm animals at home: four cows, three horse, one ass, forty sheep, fourteen cattle, four calves, six pigs, two dogs, and two cats.
    We have no special name on them. When driving out the cows I say "How up", to them. We call the cow house a "byre". The byre is thatched and is about thirty feet long and twelve feet broad. A wooden manger runs along one side. It is divided into stalls for the cows. There are iron
