  1. Once upon a time there lived a family on the Curragh. they sent their daughter out for water. When she was out the "furl blast" came and took her away. After a while her parents went to look for her. She was taken away by the fairies. After a few years she came back again. She did not talk to them. She looked very old looking. She told them she was brought off by the fairies and had to work very hard. Then they left her home.
