  1. Jinny Joe is the name of a play game which school children very often play. A number of girls gather together and one of then pretends to be Jinny Joe. Then two of the girls stay minding her and the other go round walking.
    After a while they come back and say "Jinny Joe, Jinny Joe how is she now".
    If the two girls answer for example, She is out milking the cows and ye cannot see her now. Then when they come again they say "Jinny Joe how is she now." and the nurses answer "She is very ill and ye cannot see her now". Then they come again and ask "Jinny Joe, Jinny Joe how is she now". The nurses answer "She is dying and ye cannot see her now". They go away for awhile and then comes and say "Jinny Joe how is she now". The nurses answer "She is dead and
