  1. Most people can tell if there is to be fine weather. They can tell by the sun, moon and the stars. If the sun goes down red in the evening it is a sign of storm. If the stars are shining very bright it is a sign of frost. When there is a new moon if it appears lying back the old people say that it will hold all the rain; that means no rain will fall for a while.
