    Mo Laoghaire -built Kilmaleery church.
    Saint Senan came to Rhinanna on his return from France.
    Lachtighern Mac Ui Trats founded a monastery in Fenloe.
    Robert De Muscegros the first Norman to settle in Tradraighe -built a castle in Bunratty.
    Thomas and Richard de Clare Normans who succeeded the De Muscegros.
    Maura Rua (Mc Mahon) wife of Conor O Dea ,leader in Clare in 1641 was born in Cleangh Castle.
    Ireton came to Bunratty and placed a garrison there.
