    man who told him that he could cure him if he let one of his sisters go instead. The man said he would not and then the man told him that there was a certain plant growing in the field near his house and if he got it at twelve o'clock it would cure him. He went home got the plant and the fairies did not come for him that night.

  2. A long time ago a man went on his "cúaird" to a neighbours house one night. When he was there for awhile it began to rain and he decided to stay for the night. When himself and the man of the house were in bed they heard the banshee crying and after a while she ran against the door and nearly burst it in. The man of the house wanted to get up to see her but the other man would not let him because he heard that it was not right to have
