  1. In my school district there are four forts within view of each other, Lios Luttan, Crowe's fort, Nancy's hill and one in Ballynevin. They are surrounded by low mounds of earth and white-thorn trees. They are all circular in shape. Lights were often seen in them so that the fairies could inform each other of their movements and if there was any need of calling the fairies of one fort to another. It is believed that there were some good kind people
