  1. Wind blowing from the south is a sign of rain, the wind blowing from the north is a sign of frost and snow. If wild geese are flying from the north it is a sign of a storm. If robins come into the house looking for food it is a sign of cold weather. If the sky is clear and starry it is a sign of frost, if it is dark and cloudy it is a sign of rain, when streaks are seen in the sky it is a sign of a storm.
    If far away hills can be seen plainly it is a sign of fine weather. Dust flying on the roads is a sign of wet
