    resemble real pearls.
In the winter months when there is a lot of snow on the ground I love to make snow men. I get one of my father's old hats and I put it on the snowman's head. I then put a pipe in his mouth like as if he were smoking and I get an old pair of boots and put them on him. I get two bright beads for eyes, having snow for the nose and mouth, but he soon melts away with the heat of the sun and I have to make him all over again, not that I don't like it for I only enjoy it all the more.
I make crooks of clay and then make a clay kettle. I hang the kettle on the crook. I make a fire of old rotten whins and dry grass and then put the kettle on it, but the water leaks out of the kettle and puts out the fire.
