  2. There is hardly a parish or rather a townland in this country in which there is not some hidden treasure.
    The treasure which I heard about is a crock of gold. It is hidden in Crossan's farm of Drumneveil. It is buried in the south east corner of a field beside the house in which the Crossans are living. People who lived there long ago buried it because at that time robbers were going about the country, and there were no banks so to keep their money safe they buried it. It is not long since an attempt was made to unearth
