in one, a ring in another, and water in the third then a blindfold is put on a girls face, and whoever chooses the clay will die first, whoever chooses the ring will be married the first, and whoever chooses the water will go across the sea. Two nuts are put in the fire. A girls name is put on one, and a boys name is on the other. If both nuts crack, both will be fond of the other. If not both nuts will burn out. The country boys go about taking gates and farmers implements and hiding them in awkward places.
