    Monday. They say if they would do that on a Monday they would be be doing it for the week.
    People used consider it unlucky to sell or buy on a Sunday. There were a butter market at the Post Office of Ballymacarbery long ago. There was also a butter market at the Cross. These markets are not held there yet.
    There were a few pedlars in theis district long ago. They used sell needles, thimbles, thread and many other things. There were also a few huxters in this district long ago. They used sell all sorts of small goods.
