    the butter is in one lump we take off the lid and the other things and take up the butter and wash it three or four times. If we are to sell it we do not salt it but if we keep it for ourselves we salt it. It takes an hour to make the churn. When any one comes in and if you are making the churn they would make a start of it and they would say I will put the weight of my head in it.
