    The people who lived about one hundred years ago had prayers for certain times.When they used to be putting down the fire they used say.
    i Coilligim an teine mar coilligin Críost Cách.
    ii Muire na bun agus Brighid na bárr.
    iii Naoi n-aingil is fichead ó flaitheas
    na nGrás.
    iv Ag coimead an tighe seo agus a
    bhfuil ann gach lá.
    When in bed they used say.
    i Luighimíd le Dia go luighid Sé
    linn agus go n-eirgimíd le Dia
    go n-eireóchadh Sé linn.
