    Herbs used as food.
    Dandeline = It is give to pigs when
    the potatoes are
    scarce.First it is cut up in small pieces and given raw to pigs with meal mixed through it.
    Nettles.
    They are used when cabbage is scarce.it is put down with bacon and served as cabbage.
    Chicken weed :- It is given to cows when soil is scarce
    Lion's paw.Is cut and boiled and Indian meal is mixed through it and it is given to the hens, ducks and turkeys.
    St,Patrick's Cabbage :- It is boiled and then the water is mixed through (it) the milk and given to young calves.
