    Brick-making
    There is a field in Garryclogher belonging to John Burke known as "the Brick field"
    There were bricks made there at one time. There are lines across the field on which men used to lay the bricks to dry for building in Cahir Military Barracks. [?] seventy years ago.
    The manager of another brick firm bribed the manager of these works to make the bricks bad so that the work would be condemned and his own firm get the contract.
