    When a person has warts they put their fasting spit on them for three mornings and after the third morning they will be cured.
    If a person has a toothacke it is said if he put a live frog in his mouth and by the time the frog croaks the toothacke will be gone.
    When a person has a bad cough this is how to cure it you must put the following articles down in a pot to boil for an hour 3 lemons, 1 lb brown sugar 1/4 lb sugar candy 1 oz liquorice 1 qrt water and when they have boiled for an hour strain them and put a spoon of vinegar in the water you have strained off and drink a table spoon full of it every day and after a short time there will not be a trace of the cough.
