    Two of the houses are two storey high and the others are one storey. There are no ruins of old houses in the townland.
    None of the people has farms. Mr. Dolan is an ex-policeman and has a pension. Mr O'Carroll is a station-master on the Narrow Guage Railway. The other men are labourers.
    In the townland there are many trees but no big wood. The river Erne flows beside it. There is one small picturesque lake with hills all round it. The land is fairly fertile. There is a bog in it called the "Black Bog" which supplies turf to the people in the townland.
