The games I play are Tig, Hide-and-go-Seek, Blind Man's Buff, Tip the Finger, Snakes and Ladders, Draughts, Ludo, Hide the Button, Two Jolly Welshmen, Forfeits, Follow my Mother to market, Cards, Who lost the handkerchief? In and out the windows, Ball, Colours, Steps, Hop-Scotch, Four Corners Clock, Paddy and the Loaves, Pots of Jam and Ring Board and Rings. In Spring I skip and in the Autumn I gather Blackberries. In Winter I play indoor games such as Draughts and Table Tennis.
    Hide-and-go-seek is played in this way. A crowd of children stand in a row and are counted by another child. Whatever child "Twenty" falls on is called the seeker. The seeker goes into a corner and does not look round while the others hide. When they are hidden
