   song. When the fairies heard him they came out and took the (humb) hump from his back. The man then told another hunchback and told him how to sing the song. When the second hunchback went there that night and sang the song he forgot some of the words. Then the fairies came out and put a larger hump on his back.

   There is a hill situated in Bally-Griffy which is called Brown Hill. On this hill there is a fort known as "lios-a-Cnocáin" on the "Fort of the Hillock". The fairies were supposed to live there in olden times and any one that died
