  1. The local landlord's name was Captain Beresfort. He had his residence in Armagh. He was living in the about fifty years.
    Some evictions took place during his time. A man named Patrick Smith Drumacleeskin, Scotshouse Clones, Co Cavan, was evicted because he could not pay the heavy rent which was taxed on him to pay, and his land was sold to a man named Faulkner. This man's descendants still lives in the district.
