  1. Only remains of this fort are to be seen now; The shape is not even there as hedges have been made through it. It is situated on very high ground and commands a fine view of the surrounding a country. Many a time says Old John Smith Tullybrick, Lisboduff I heard the fairies singing and playing their music on it and I coming off my ceilide at night.
    His wife says she heard the banshee wailing around that fort and across the bog under it, before deaths occurred in a certain family who lived there but are now wiped out.
