    Scee - a townland near the school, in the parish of Drung, means a seat or sitting place.
    Corakeerin - a townland about a mile from the school, in the parish of Drung, (means a round hill) is Cor-an-chaorthainn) which means the round hill of the keeran or quicken tree.
    Devally = Dubh-Bhealaigh means the dark passage - is so called because of a dismal gloomy bye road which passes through it
