  1. Long years ago a farmer from Bailieboro district was proceeding to the fair of Drogheda to see a young horse. The journey was long and he left home shortly after mid-night when he had gone a distance of about twelve miles he was accosted by a well dressed stranger who asked him where he was going with the horse.
    The farmer explained that he was going to sell the animal in the Fair of Drogheda. "Would you sell him to me"? asked the stranger. "Certainly I would said the farmer "if I got the right Price. The
