  1. Long ago there lived in the town of Bailieboro a baker whose chief amusement was playing cards late at night. One night, late, he was having a stroll through the town - all his card playing friends were absent - when he was confronted by a tall well dressed (man) stranger who asked him if he knew any place where he could have a quiet game of cards.
    The Baker expressed delight at meeting a fellow sportsman and took him to the house where the cards were usually played. The occupants were in bed, the door
