  1. The club known as the Bailieboro Home Rulers played several matches with the Cross Independents and the Mullagh Gaels, about fifty years ago.
    The Shamrock Club Bailieboro played against the Nobber Hibernians also.
    There were twenty one men on each team. Matches were played at Mullagh, Bailieboro, and Cross football grounds.
    In those days it was only parishes or townlands that played. All the teams won in turn.
    For the Home Rulers the best players were John
