  1. One morning a man was going to Kells very early. When he was near Kells he saw a man on horseback. He said 'that he was not the only one that was out early' . The man rode about half-a-mile and then rode in through the hedge. The first man thought there was a gap and passed no remarks. When he went up the road another bit he saw the man on the horse again. He rode in through the hedge the same as before. The man came home from Kells early and looked to see if there was any
