  1. My home district is the townland of Cornamagh. It is in the diocese of Meath in the parish of Enniskeen in the barony of Clonkee. There are eighteen families in the townland of Cornamagh. The number of people would be about eighty eight. Byrne's is the name most common in Cornamagh. Most of the houses in this townland are thatched. Houses were more numerous in former times the what they are at the present day. In those day they were three houses on one farm. Their ruins are still to be seen to this day. The land here is boggy and hilly. There are very few glens and steams and there are no woods lakes
