  1. Local Songs (continued)

I am a roaring hackler that loves the shamrock shore

    (continued from previous page)
    So very much of late
Coercion now, is all the row
    And peeler on their bate
To take a glass, is oh! alas!
    The greatest crime atall
    Since Balfor placed
    That hungry beast
    The sergeant of Grousehall
    4
    He haunts the League
    Just like a plague
    Mast shameful to relate
The priest on Sunday can't be free
    The mass to celebrate
    For (there) their he kneels
    And cased in steels
    And ready at duty's call
For to assail and haul to gaol
    Our clergy to Grousehall.
    5
His raid on dogs it almost flogs
    Most shocking to behold
How he'd pull up a six month's pup
And swear him two years old.
He'll seize a goat just by the throat
    Head, horns tail and all
There is no peace about the place
