    Blue or white are supposed to be the "lucky" colours for a wedding. Very few would have the courage to marry in green or to marry in May.
    "Marry in May, you'll rue the day."
    April and June are the favourite months for weddings and Wednesday the favourite day. Brides like to be favoured with a sunny day for their marriage.
    "Happy is the bride that the sun shines on."
    No bride would like to see rain on her wedding day.
