    It is said that George Mac Quade dreamt for three nights in succession that there was a crock of gold and a flag on top of it in this fort.
    He went and began to search for gold, and he found the flag but he got no gold, and he lost his sense's for a week after that.
    There is another story about Drumina fort. One day a man was walking through the fort and he saw a churn full of half churned milk. He started to churn and while he was churning a fairy came and told him that "there was a rat in the churn". The man said that he knew no way of getting rid of the rat.
    Then the fairy told him to "rub him up and sleak him down and take a drink". The man did so and when he had some of the milk drank he started to talk to the fairy, while doing so the rat jumped down his throat and
