    water and they used to light a fire and boil the water on the fire for the tea. Then they used to get dust and they used to wet it for pancakes for the tea. Then they used to pretend to eat the pancakes and drink the tea.
    After tea they used to put the dolls to bed.
    Long ago the children used to make dolls of turnips.
    They used to scoop out the centre of the turnip and put a face, eyes, nose and a mouth in it.
    Then they used to put a stick for a neck in it, and then they used to dress it with rags.
