The thrush is a very sweet songster. She makes her nest in a bush or in a ditch.
The thrush lays four or five eggs which are brown with little black spots on them. It is possible to get a thrushes nest from April to June.
The cuckoo is a very big bird she is twice as big as the thrush. The cuckoo builds no nest. She lays her eggs in a thrush's nest or in a sparrow's nest. Although the cuckoo is a very big bird the egg she(continues on next page)- Collector
