  1. There was a man in Ireland long ago and his name was the Góban Saor. He was married and had one son. The Góban Saor was a great mason and his son was nearly as good. A man in England heard of this great mason and he sent for him to build a house for him. The mason and his son went over to England and built the best house that ever was seen in the country. The man for whom they built the house was going to cut the heads off the Góban Saor and his son afraid they would build a house for any other person. The masons heard what was going to happen them and they decided to play a luck
