1. The Care of Our Farm Animals

   Here are a list of the farm animals and domestick animals at home, the cows, the calves, the horses, the hens, the ducks, the geece, the turkeys, the dogs, and the cats. The cows are tied in the night time in houses called byres.
   The are tied by the neck with chains which are not home made. When driving home the cows we say "Come on Succy" or "Tris Tris". When cows are thieving they are tied from their horns to their foot. And some put bags or an opened bucket on their heads and the are called pucogs.
   Palm is hung in the byre to bring luck on the stock.
