  1. About a 100 yards South East of Killadreenans Church ruins there is a well in the middle of a marsh, at which the people long ago believed it cure them of their deseases.
They washed their deseases in the well and then hung their bandages on a thorn bush which was cut down the year I was born 1927. The people of the locality were sorry for this bush as it reminded them of the many cures which took place at the holy well.
My father told me the above.
