    was supposed to tell no one else about it. Next day he told another man about it and that night they went to look for it.
    They were looking for it when they came to a flagstone and they were lifting it up when a little man appeared and they started to run and in two years after they died and no one else ever went to look for it after.

  2. The following story was told to me by my Grandfather, Michael Twambley Rathnew.
    There was a farmer in Killoughter who had two men working for him knocking down an old house.
    One of the men was from Rathnew and the other man was an ex-soldier.
    The farmer had built a new house and he told the men to take the grate out of the old house and put it in the new one, also the hearth stone.
