Ar an leathanach seo
- There is a story about a man who was chased by the yeomen and who was supposed to have hidden treasure.
There used to be an old castle at Cooney's of Killcandra and it was there that the man was first seen with a bag of gold. He was being chased by yeomen. He took a short "straight" across the hill which is planted with trees heading for Deputys Pass. He was caught when he got there by other yeomen, but he had'nt got the money. It is believed that he hid the money on the way over not to let the yeomen get it.
